Featured Projects

Two Mellon Center / Union Trust Building

Two Mellon Center is one of Pittsburgh’s most stunning landmarks. An imposing limestone structure in the Flemish-Gothic style, the building features a sixty-five-foot high mansard roof. Graciano Corporation implemented roof, stone terra cotta and flashing repairs to halt damaging water infiltration. The firm also restored architectural elements, including four distinctive eagles positioned at each corner of the roofline. (view project)

Queensboro Bridge

One of New York City’s most visible landmarks, the Queensboro Bridge forms a vital link between Manhattan and its outlying suburbs. Designed to house an open-air market beneath its superstructure, the bridge suffered from more than 50 years of neglect and deterioration. Graciano Corporation was given the responsibility to rebuild the bridge’s Guastavino vaults, remove, clean, repair, and replace terra-cotta tile. The firm also undertook rehabilitation of existing mortar joints and installed new pointing to match existing mortar colors and raised joint tooling details. (view project)

Graciano Intern Program

Graciano Corporation is helping to acquaint engineering and architectural students with the challenges of the real world through innovative internship programs.

Participating students — drawn from many of the country’s leading colleges and universities — collect company and field data, work directly with management and teams, and conduct extensive research. Interns then develop and present to Graciano’s management recommendations for ongoing program enhancements. Interns work on flexible schedules and partner with Graciano employees who help the students develop and refine their skills.
